Technomyrmex sp is a fully black species (without white feet). This genus is another general fast running ants made infamous by Paratrechina longicornis, the small black crazy ant.
Paratrechina, Nylanderia, Technomyrmex and Prenolepis looks fairly similar in morphological shape of the workers. Of these Technomyrmex has the smallest queen compare to the workers. Technomyrmex also belongs to a different subfamily, Dolichoderinae, similar to Tapinoma.
